This is one of the power plant projects built under the Indian Government’s Vision 2020 Programme and undertaken by the Nuclear Power Corporation of India Limited (NPCIL), Department of Atomic Energy (DAE). Built to produce electrical energy from safe and clean nuclear power, phase 3 & 4 of the project have an installed power generation capacity 2 x 540 Mwe.
