The Krugerjet is available as either a high efficiency uni-directional, or as a truly reversible which will give approximately equal airflow and thrust in each direction.
CONSTRUCTION
The fan casing, housing the motor and impeller is manufactured from mild steel. Motor support arms are welded to the duct and the complete assembly is hot dipped galvanised.
Standard construction for silencers is galvanised steel for the exterior casing and perforated liner, with hot dip galvanised steel inlets and flanges. Aerodynamic faring and arms are manufactured from mild steel hot dip galvanised with formed aluminum ends.
MOTOR
The standard motors are totally enclosed squirrel cage type with pad mounting. High efficiency motors are also available. The standard Krugerject motor has Class F insulation. Purpose designed systems of enhanced thermal endurance can be offered for emergency operation typically at 250 degC for one to two hours.
