Chengdu is the 3rd city in China to have two international airports after Beijing and Shanghai city. The airport is located approximately 50 kilometres southeast of Chengdu. The total cost of the project is approximately USD 12 billion. It will have capacity for 90 million passengers and will be the largest airport in western China and the nation’s fourth largest international hub.
