BDB Series - Direct Coupling Double Inlet Centrifugal Fans – Backward Wheels

The BDB series is DIDW centrifugal fans with high efficiency non-overloading backward curved impellers. The fans are suitable for supply or exhaust applications in commercial, process and industrial HVAC systems. Sizes of this series is in accordance with AMCA Standard 99-16.

The operating limit of different fan types of the BDB series is set according to the requirement of Class 1, 11 and 111 limit as defined in AMCA Standard 99-16.

The full BDB series is AMCA certified to Air, Sound and FEG.

The BDB series is available in type S, C, T, X or Z.

The typical selection range of a BC wheel is approximately 40-85% wide open airflow. The maximum static efficiency is from approximately 65 to 75% and occurs at approximately 50% of wide-open airflow.

Generally, BC fan operates at higher speed and used for moving large volumes of air in high static-pressure applications. Due to this purpose, it is robustly constructed.

The advantage of a BC fan is higher efficiency and non-overloading power curve.
